Always busy so expecting a wait. What I don't expect is selective service. Watching people come & go while my fish sat out waiting to be cleaned. They finally started after I said," just give it and I'll clean it myself". Then they put ice on it. For what?

My husband and I loved our food. We’re from Atlanta and I haven’t had authentic catfish in years at a takeout restaurant until we came here. The prices were great. Customer service was excellent. I love the way the fried shrimp and fish are seasoned. I can’t stand how salty most food is today and the food here was not salty nor under seasoned. Only people that love salty food would say the food isn’t seasoned. The food was great. It didn’t even need sauce. The seafood is Wayyy better than seafood in Atlanta and the market looks like any other seafood market I’ve ever seen so I’m not sure what people are complaining about. 10/10

I had a very disappointing experience at Jackie Seafood in Garden City, Savannah. I spent over $200 purchasing what I was told would be fresh brim (bluegill). I specifically asked the gentleman at the counter how many fresh fish were available and made it clear multiple times that I only wanted fresh fish, as I was traveling back to Atlanta. He assured me he could provide what I needed. However, after he went to the back to gather additional fish, a significant portion of my order, at least 8 pounds out of approximately 20, turned out to be old and previously frozen. This was not visible to me at the time of purchase, as the fish was brought from the back and packaged without transparency. It felt deceptive, especially given that I clearly communicated my expectations and the purpose of my purchase. I have attached photos for reference, which further demonstrate the quality concerns with the fish I received. As shown in the images, the fish have cloudy eyes, which is a well-known indication that the fish is not fresh. This experience left me feeling taken advantage of, and it has completely eliminated any desire to return. Trust is critical when purchasing food, especially fresh

The best FRESH fried shrimp and calamari I've had!! It's not greasy, it's crunchy crusted deliciousness! Ten out of ten, Recommend!!! I'm from Dallas and would come back to have it again!!

First time here. Great place to eat! They serve fresh seafood (that you can purchase and prep at home), fried foods and cooked seafood also. Pricing is great and so are the numerous selections! Just be sure to clean the crab really well before just throwing them in a pot/pan !!! Oh & the fried calamari was tasty; although, beware... it's strips, not rings!!!
